Jonathan Bowlan to the injured list

One of the more effective relievers the team has right now is going to be missing some time on the injured list.

Bowlan has been quietly good with the team, compiling a 3.86 ERA (1.28 FIP) over his seven innings of work. He’s struck out eight hitters and walked only one, so his stuff is playing well. Hopefully, it’s a short stint.

Seth Johnson saw a velocity jump in spring training working strictly as a reliever, so the hope is that that trend continues in the days he’s in Philadelphia.
