- Jordan Addison allegedly refused to leave Fla. casino restaurant, leading to trespass arrest
Minnesota Vikings receiver and Tuscarora High graduate Jordan Addison refused to leave a Florida casino restaurant early Monday and was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of trespass, according to a court record The Frederick News-Post obtained Wednesday.
Police were called to the Noodle Bar inside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa, Florida, at 3:42 a.m. after Addison was asked several times by casino security to leave the restaurant but refused, according to a criminal report affidavit from Hillsborough County, Fla.
As Addison was being escorted out of the building by police, "he repeatedly had to be redirected towards the front exit," according to the affidavit. After he was warned by two officers, Addison was arrested at 3:46 a.m.
He was released on $500 cash bond Monday afternoon.
This was the third arrest since 2023 for Addison, 23, who entered the NFL that year as a first-round draft pick by the Vikings out of Southern Cal.
He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of speeding in 2023 after being arrested and cited that July in the early morning hours for going 140 mph in a 55 mph zone in St. Paul, Minnesota.
A year later, Addison was arrested for drunken driving after he was found asleep at the wheel of a car blocking a freeway lane in Los Angeles.
He was subsequently suspended by the NFL for the first three games of the 2025 season for violating the league's personal conduct policy.
His latest arrest could leave him subject to further punishment by the NFL.
It has also left in question his future with the Vikings, who must decide by May 1 whether to pick up the fifth-year option on his rookie contract, a four-year deal worth $13.73 million.
The arrest coincides with the start of an offseason, three years after he was drafted, when Minnesota could begin discussing a long-term contract extension with Addison if they desire to keep him.
Addison has been a productive, play-making option while forming one of the league's top receiving duos with superstar Justin Jefferson. The Frederick native has 175 receptions and 24 TDs in three seasons.
But his numbers dipped in 2025, which was his worst year as a professional and — coupled with his repeated problems with the law — make him a candidate to be offloaded.
At an end-of-season press conference Tuesday, Minnesota general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah and head coach Kevin O'Connell did not comment specifically on Monday's incident, which they had learned of shortly before meeting with the media.
But Adofo-Mensah mentioned that Addison's numerous off-the-field issues would be a factor when considering the receiver's future with the organization.
