Portland (13-19) defeated Seattle (6-28), 100-93, at Moda Center in Portland, Oregon. 15,294 were in attendance for theWNBAcontest.
Former Lady VolJordan Horstonscored 17 points in 19 minutes for the Storm. She converted 6-of-10 field goal attempts, 4-of-6 three-point attempts and 1-of-2 free throw attempts. The 6-foot-2 forward also recorded three rebounds, one assist and one steal.

Jade Melbourne led Seattle in scoring with 23 points, while Dominique Malonga finished with 21 points.
Portland forward Bridget Carleton led all scorers with 24 points. The Fire led for 80% of the game and their largest lead was 15 points.
Horston played at Tennessee from 2019-23. She was a two-time All-SEC First-team selection and a two-time Associated Press and WBCA All-America honorable mention.
Horston appeared in 114 games, including 91 starts, for the Lady Vols, recording 1,145 points, 731 rebounds, 455 assists, 109 blocks and 163 steals.
She was named to the 2023 WNBA All-Rookie Team and was the No. 9 overall selection in the 2023 WNBA draft. Horston went to Tennessee from Columbus Africentric Early College High School in Columbus, Ohio.
