- Jordan Morgan uses Ben Johnson’s fiery comments to fuel Packers before Bears clash
The Green Bay Packers have another reason to approach Sunday's clash with the Chicago Bears with extra intensity. Ahead of the Week 5 showdown at Lambeau Field, left tackle Jordan Morgan revealed that the team has not brushed aside Ben Johnson's blunt anti-Packers comment. The Bears head coach's "F*** the Packers" remark continues to resonate in Green Bay as the longtime rivals prepare to meet again.
When asked if Johnson's comment still gets under the Packers' skin, Jordan Morgan gave a direct response.
"Yeah. I mean, he's dissing us. He's dissing the Packers," commented the Packers left tackle.
"A lot of people in here, I'm pretty sure, take that to heart. And we got a chance to prove to everybody on Sunday that we the best team."

Packers offensive tackle Anthony Belton (71), center Jacob Monk (62), guard Sean Rhyan (75), Jacob Monk (62) and guard Jordan Morgan (77) are shown during the first quarter of their game against the Atlanta Falcons Thursday, Sept. 24, 2026 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Morgan's comments add more fuel to an important NFC North matchup. The Packers head into Sunday's game with a 2-2 record, while the Bears arrive at Lambeau Field at 3-1 after winning their last three games.
The 25-year-old now anchors the left side of Green Bay's offensive line , taking on the responsibility of keeping Jordan Love safe from opposing defenders. His battle against Chicago's pass rush could prove crucial on Sunday. For the Packers to channel Johnson's remarks into extra drive, they will need to deliver a strong performance up front from the first play.

Morgan has faced a steep learning curve during his first four games in an expanded role. He has logged 253 offensive snaps and helped maintain some stability on a Packers offensive line disrupted by injuries and lineup changes. Yet the former first round pick has allowed 14 pressures and two sacks while committing four penalties, highlighting the difficulty of consistently keeping Jordan Love protected.
Green Bay's struggles to find a consistent ground game make Morgan's performance against Chicago even more significant. The Packers now have an opportunity to respond to Ben Johnson's remarks with their play on Sunday.
