Tennessee footballcoach Josh Heupel got an unsatisfying explanation from officials on a key pass into the end zone during theVols win over Kentuckyat Neyland Stadium on Nov. 7.
With the Vols struggling to find consistency in the passing game, and nursing a four-point lead over the Wildcats, quarterback George MacIntyre fired a pass for tight endDaSaahn Brameinto the far corner of the end zone. The pass was ruled incomplete, but replay showed that Brame had two hands on the ball and got at least one foot down.
Tennessee coach Josh Heupel said officials did review the play but didn't agree that Brame met the criteria for a touchdown.

No. 16 Tennessee scored 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to secure a blowout,34-6 victoryover the No. 7 Wildcats and make the controversial call a moot point.
Brame suffered an injury on the play, hitting the back of his head on the turf. He was helped off the field and did not return to the game, finishing with one reception for three yards.
