FC Barcelona have been handed a late fitness concern ahead of Sunday's trip to Mestalla, with Lamine Yamal absent from the team's final training session before their La Liga meeting with Valencia, according to SPORT .
The 19-year-old winger's unexpected absence has raised doubts over whether he will be available for the Catalans' fourth La Liga match of the 2026/27 season.
After a rather quiet start, Lamine came to life for Barcelona in their win over Rayo Vallecano this past Monday night.
The World Cup winner was easily one of the team's standout performers as Hansi Flick's side made it nine points from three games following victories over Elche and Athletic Club.

The German coach is expected to address Lamine's absence during his pre-match press conference, with the teenager's condition set to be assessed over the coming hours.
The news comes on the same day that Lamine was confirmed as one of Barcelona's new vice-captains following a vote among the squad.
The situation surrounding Lamine remains unclear, and his condition over the next few hours will determine whether he can take part at Mestalla.
Barcelona are scheduled to travel to Valencia on Saturday afternoon, where the squad will stay overnight ahead of Sunday's match at Mestalla.
The Blaugrana will be looking to maintain their 100% record and take advantage of Real Madrid dropping points, with victory potentially allowing them to move clear at the top of the table.

After a perfect start, Flick will now be hoping his star winger's absence from the final training session proves to be only a minor concern.
Lamine's absence was the main concern from Saturday's session, but there were also two important positives.
Gavi and Gabriel Jesus both trained normally with the group once again.
Gavi had missed Barcelona's previous two matches after suffering a knee knock during the opening-day victory over Elche. His return means he is available again for selection.
Jesus is also expected to be included in the squad for the first time since joining Barcelona from Arsenal.
