Juventus Eye Manchester City Misfit and More Left-Backs
Juventus couldn't offload Juan Cabal and replace him with a better option in the summer, but they will try again in January, and Rayan Ait-Nouri is the latest name to land on their radar, La Gazzetta dello Sport informs.
The 25-year-old has been an afterthought after the arrival of Enzo Maresca. He has played only twice, starting just in one Carabao Cup tilt. He has never been deployed in the Premier League. If the situation doesn't improve, his winter exit will be almost certain.

Juventus reached out to Ait-Nouri in late August. His camp was already concerned about his prospective role, but the deal didn't come together. The Bianconeri are ready to ask for him on loan with an option to buy. He headed to Manchester for €37M a year ago after showing well at Wolverhampton. However, he's rarely been a regular, also due to a few injuries.
The Old Lady is determined to find a new left-back. They have been leaning heavily on Zeki Celik and Pierre Kalulu in the early going while both Andrea Cambiaso and Juan Cabal were on the mend. In addition to the Frenchman, they are keeping tabs on David Raum for a possible Bosman addition.
According to Corriere dello Sport , Nicolas Tagliafico remains an option after he almost joined on deadline day. He's on their fallback list alongside his teammate Abner and Emerson Palmieri.
Our Take on Juventus and Ait-Nouri
Luciano Spalletti seems to have completely lost confidence in Cabal, and for good reason, but the caliber of reinforcement they'll need and target will hinge on whether Andrea Cambiaso shows signs of life after a very long sticky patch.
