Juventus star flies to France to continue recovery from injury
Khephren Thuram continues to work towards full fitness after undergoing knee surgery , and he has travelled to Lyon to visit a specialist and continue his rehabilitation, according to Football Italia .
The Frenchman is expected to spend the next two weeks in Lyon as he works to regain his fitness. However, his recovery will take longer than Juventus hoped, with reports indicating that he will not play for the club again this year.

Juventus will not rush Thuram back into action in a serious situation such as this. The Bianconeri will instead focus on the midfielders available to Luciano Spalletti until the end of the year.
Thuram continues rehabilitation
Thuram underwent surgery on his right knee in September after suffering from a persistent problem. The procedure was successful, but he now faces a lengthy rehabilitation programme before he can return to competitive football.
His time in Lyon will allow him to continue working under specialist supervision. Once that stage is complete, he will return to Turin and begin the next phase of his recovery.

Juventus will monitor his progress carefully and avoid taking unnecessary risks. The club understands that a rushed return could cause further complications and delay his comeback.

Juventus must cope without him
The Bianconeri have several midfielders available while Thuram recovers. Those players must now take greater responsibility and help the team remain competitive in Serie A and Europe.
Juventus still has considerable quality in midfield, even without one of its important players. If the available options remain fit and perform well, the team should have enough strength to challenge its opponents.

Thuram will hope his teammates can keep Juventus competing for trophies before he returns. The club's priority is to make sure he completes his rehabilitation properly, even if that means waiting until next year.
For now, Juventus must get the best from its available midfielders. Thuram's return will provide a significant boost, but the Bianconeri know patience is essential while he recovers.
