Two of the celebrities at the FIFA World Cup match between England and Panama were New York Giants offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor and 300 actor Gerard Butler , and they had a nice exchange.

Eluemunor and Butler linked up at the World Cup match between England and Panama. Naturally, the Giants star showed Butler his 300-inspired tattoo, taking off his shirt to show it.
Both men were sporting wide grins, so it appears they had a friendly moment. Perhaps they can link up again someday on the big screen.
300 is a 2006 movie directed by Zack Snyder. Butler plays King Leonidas in the historical epic. 300 was a box office smash hit, grossing over $456 million worldwide on a $65 million budget.
Giants just re-signed Jermaine Eluemunor

During the 2026 offseason, the Giants re-signed Eluemunor to a three-year, $39 million deal. He had spent the last two years with New York after signing a two-year contract upon his arrival in 2024.

Before his time with the Giants, Eluemunor was a journeyman. He was drafted in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft out of Texas A&M.
He spent the first two years of his NFL career with the Baltimore Ravens . Eluemunor (and a sixth-round pick) would then be traded to the New England Patriots during the 2019 offseason for a fourth-round pick.
The following year, he would sign with the Miami Dolphins . However, this tenure would not last long, as he was released a couple of months after signing with the team. He'd similarly sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars before being released days later.
Eventually, he would land with the Las Vegas Raiders . He would start all 17 games of the 2022 season. He re-signed with them during the following offseason.

Since then, he has found a home in New York. The Giants clearly like him, as evidenced by the fact that they re-signed the 31-year-old to a multi-year deal.
