Ole Miss Rebels left tackle Terez Davis is set to play Saturday against the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs after being removed from Thursday's updated SEC availability report .
The Rebels listed Davis as probable on Wednesday's initial report, creating at least some uncertainty about the availability of the Rebels' starting left tackle before one of their biggest games of the season.
Davis has emerged as Ole Miss' starting left tackle in his second season with the Rebels after transferring from Maryland. He has played in all but one game this season, only missing the game against Texas.
According to PFF's Cam Mellor , Davis is one of the highest-graded left tackles this season, with a 90.0 PFF grade, good for eighth-best in the nation.
Davis' absence from Thursday's list means he no longer carries an availability designation heading into the weekend, giving a significant boost to quarterback Trinidad Chambliss and an Ole Miss offense already dealing with a major loss elsewhere.
The left tackle's return will give Chambliss some stability up front against a Georgia defense that has recorded 26 sacks through eight games, averaging 3.3 per game.

Running back Kewan Lacy will miss Saturday's game as he remains out after dislocating his left shoulder against Texas on Oct. 24.
Chambliss leads the SEC with 189 completions, 2,189 passing yards and 18 touchdown passes this season. He has also rushed for 199 yards and seven scores.
The Rebels are 6-2 overall and 4-2 in SEC play and debuted at No. 10 in the first College Football Playoff rankings. Georgia is 7-1, 5-1 in conference play and ranked No. 2.
Ole Miss hosts Georgia on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
