Killian Hayes is back in the NBA full-time.

The Detroit Pistons ' 2020 No. 7 overall pick has signed a two-year deal with the Sacramento Kings , according to ESPN. Hayes has spent most of this season playing in the G League but recently completed a pair of 10-day contracts with the Kings, with the second expiring on Sunday. He's averaging 3.8 points and 3.3 assists in 15.3 minutes per game in the NBA.

Before his return to the NBA, Hayes was averaging 22.4 points, 8.4 assists and 3.1 rebounds with the Cleveland Charge of the G League. He split last season between the Brooklyn Nets and their G League affiliate, the Long Island Nets, after spending most of his first four seasons with the Pistons.

HISTORY LESSON: Detroit Pistons are 2 wins from a milestone two decades in the making

The Pistons waived Hayes, a Florida native, in February 2024 after drafting him in the first round out of France.

With the Pistons, Hayes averaged 8.1 points, 5.2 assists and 2.9 rebounds in 26.1 minutes a game in 210 appearances.
