The New York Knicks are not in a do-or-die situation heading into Game 4, but if they lose, it would be tough to get out of that hole. Game 3 once again exposed some of their weaknesses, and the biggest one was Mikal Bridges basically being unplayable . Miles McBride took his minutes down the stretch and hit some big shots to help the Knicks get back into the game.

Though the Knicks still lost 109-108, they found something with McBride, which has led to the question of if Mike Brown will make some changes to the starting lineup in Game 4.

“That’ll be a game-time decision. Like I said last night, everything is on the table,” Brown said via James Edwards III of The Athletic. “Any decision that I make, I try to think of all the pros and cons.”

It will be interesting to see what Brown does, but at this point, he might not have a choice to make some changes. Bridges finished Game 3 with 0 points, one rebound, two assists and four turnovers in 21 minutes.

Bridges spoke about his play after the game, and knows that he has to play better moving forward.

“I had more turnovers [today] than I had the first two games combined. Just sloppy overall,” Bridges said via Kristian Winfield of the NY Daily News. “Just a bad turnover day for me. I’ve just got to clean it up. It’s on me.”

In hindsight, the Knicks probably want Bridges to step up his play, especially when looking at what they gave up to acquire him two seasons ago. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like he can find a rhythm on the court, and he’s hurting the team more than helping them.

If he is moved to the bench, the hope is that he can come in with the second unit and make an impact.
