Lawrence North (Ind.) star senior Monshun Sales is out for the Wildcats' game at Lawrence Central on Friday evening, according to WRTV's Angela Moryan . The Five-Star Plus+ Indiana Hoosiers wide receiver commit is dealing with back spasms.
It's been a slow start to Sales' senior season. He wasn't targeted in a 48-0 road win at Fishers last week and had just a pair of catches in a season-opening loss to top-ranked Brownsburg the week prior. He also plays defensive back for the Wildcats.

Emerging as the No. 7 overall prospect and No. 2 WR in the 2027 cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking , a weighted average that utilizes all major recruiting media companies, Sales broke out as a junior. He caught 37 passes for 794 yards and nine touchdowns, averaging 21.5 yards per catch. He also had 56 tackles, standing out as a safety.
It's only a matter of time before Sales gets rolling, but it remains to be seen if the reported back spasms will keep him on the sidelines for longer than one week. Lawrence North (1-1) enters Friday night as the No. 6 team in Indiana, according to the Rivals Composite Rankings.
Lawrence Central (1-1) opened its season with a win but suffered a 24-12 loss at Zionsville last week. The Bears check in at No. 21 in the state rankings. The Massey Ratings predicted a 42-26 victory for North heading into Friday's showdown.
