Eagles fans have plenty of reasons to be frustrated with Nick Sirianni after watching close games slip away, but Michael Vick isn't ready to join the chorus calling for change. The former Philadelphia quarterback believes the team needs to give its coach and Jalen Hurts more time together, even as questions about Sirianni's decisions continue to grow.
Michael Vick Urges Eagles Fans to Stop Criticizing Nick Sirianni
Speaking on Brandon Graham's show, "Brandon Graham Unblocked," Vick pointed to the changes across Philadelphia's roster and argued that the team needs time to adjust.

The departures of A.J. Brown and Lane Johnson have further reshaped an offense that has also been operating without longtime center Jason Kelce since his retirement after the 2023 season.
"Continuously build around him, you know, put good players around him," Vick said, referring to Hurts. He believes the quarterback still has years ahead of him and that the Eagles should focus on providing him with the support he needs to succeed rather than rushing to judge the current setup.
Vick was equally direct about Sirianni, urging fans to stop placing so much blame on the head coach.

"And they got the right coach, too, man. Everybody needs to get off Nick's back, man," Vick said. "For real."
He used the opportunity to make his support for the coach-quarterback partnership clear, asking Philadelphia supporters to let the pairing develop instead of demanding immediate answers.
"Just say, 'Man, you got a good leader and a great coach, and you got that tandem head coach and quarterback. Leave it alone,'" Vick said. "I love, you know, I ain't going to disrespect our Eagles fans, but I'm always telling the truth because they're real. But let this combination ride out, baby."
Vick's comments come after Sirianni drew heavy criticism for Philadelphia's 19-17 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in London.

The Eagles led 17-16 with eight seconds remaining when Sirianni opted for a returnable kickoff rather than sending the ball through the end zone. Jacksonville's Ameer Abdullah returned it 53 yards, setting up Cam Little's 57-yard field goal as time expired.

Sirianni took responsibility for the decision after the game, admitting, "I didn't make the right decision and I lost us that game."
This admission has not ended the debate. Philadelphia's late-game execution, conservative stretches on offense, and inconsistent decision-making have all added to the pressure on Sirianni during the team's 2-3 start.

Vick isn't arguing that the Eagles have played well in every situation. Instead, he believes the roster changes and the need to build around Hurts deserve consideration before the organization makes a major decision.
