LeBron James was given a taste of his own medicine after Indiana Pacers forward Jalen Slawson blocked his shot in a viral moment during the Philadelphia 76ers' latest NBA game.
The clip, shared by Underdog NBA, showed Slawson celebrating after denying the veteran superstar, with the two sides level at 25-25 in the second quarter.

However, an official called a foul following the exchange, taking some of the shine off Slawson's defensive play.

Underdog NBA shared the footage with the caption: "LeBron gets a taste of his own medicine from Jalen Slawson".
The moment quickly drew attention because of the challenge of stopping James, who is now in his 24th NBA season and continues to compete against younger players.
Slawson had a limited role in the contest, finishing with two points, one rebound, one assist and one blocked shot in 12 minutes of action.
Despite his modest numbers, the defensive sequence against one of basketball's biggest names gave him a moment to remember.

James finished with 13 points, five rebounds and 10 assists as Philadelphia claimed a 114-109 win over Indiana.
The 76ers also received a major contribution from Tyrese Maxey, who scored 27 points, while Joel Embiid added 21 points and 11 rebounds.
Philadelphia improved to 4-1 with the victory, while the Pacers dropped to 2-3.
For James, the result mattered more than one individual exchange, as the 76ers continued their strong start to the season.
Slawson's block may not have changed the outcome, but the clip offered a reminder that even an established superstar can find himself on the wrong end of a highlight.
