Liam Rosenior and those around him have acknowledged that early concerns about Cole Palmer and his Chelsea teammates were unfounded.
When Rosenior first took over as the Blues' manager, there was plenty of scepticism. Many fans saw it as a cheap and uninspired choice following Enzo Maresca's exit.

Rosenior has done well to change that narrative. He has won eight games, drawn two, and lost two – both defeats coming against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup.
One of the standout aspects has been how he has handled big names like Palmer. There are plenty of social media clips showing his relaxed approach, and behind the scenes, his man-management skills have been evident in how he's communicated with players privately.

The Standard reported that those around Rosenior had concerns early on about whether Palmer and the other big names in the squad would get behind his methods.

They feared a lack of respect could become a problem.
But as results have improved, Rosenior has seen that the dressing room is more together than he expected. He also feels that each win is helping to strengthen his authority within the squad.
The 41-year-old manager himself addressed the issue, explaining that the perception of Moises Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez , and Palmer having egos is entirely incorrect.

There was a moment at Molineux when the No. 10 interrupted the manager's post-match interview after scoring a hat-trick. It felt like more than just a bit of fun – it was a sign that the dressing room is fully behind him.
Rosenior has also earned respect for his approach, often putting the focus on his players' effort rather than his own methods.
Even Fernandez, who had been linked to PSG before, appears re-energised under the Englishman. The midfielder has publicly acknowledged the head coach's influence and thanked him for it.
