Brian Branch remains in concussion protocol, but the Pro Bowl safety was listed as a limited participant on the Detroit Lions ' estimated practice report on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
Branch was injured when he collided helmet-to-helmet with teammate D.J. Wonnum while trying to make a tackle in last week's win over the Minnesota Vikings . Both Branch and Wonnum left the game with brain injuries , and Wonnum was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's practice report.
The Lions (5-2) held a walk-through instead of a practice Wednesday.
Along with Wonnum, linebacker Jack Campbell (neck), center Cade Mays (ankle) and cornerback D.J. Reed (hip) were non-participants Wednesday.
Jack Campbell released a statement through the Lions before practice saying he has "full movement in my lower body, and I'm continuing to make progress with movement in my upper body." He remains in a local hospital.
Safety Kerby Joseph (knee), linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga (toe), running back Jacob Saylors (neck) and receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown (rib) also were listed as limited participants Wednesday.
