The Patriots play at the Denver Broncos on Sunday, Jan. 25 at 3 p.m. in the AFC Championship. New England last reached the AFC title game in 2018.
The Broncos will be without starting QB Bo Nix in that game after Nix suffered a broken ankle late in his team’s overtime win against the Bills on Saturday. Former Patriots backup QB Jarrett Stidham is expected to start for Denver on Sunday.
On Sunday, Maye threw for 179 yards and three touchdowns - one each to Kayshon Boutte , Stefon Diggs and DeMario Douglas .
Stroud threw one TD to Christian Kirk , but struggled mightily especially in the first half. For the game, he completed 20 of 47 pass attempts for 212 yards and was sacked three times.
