Andy Robertson continues to be linked with a move away from Anfield, with Tottenham maintaining interest in the experienced Scotland international. Discussions between the two clubs are ongoing, but there is still no final agreement in place.
Robertson has been a key figure in Liverpool's success over recent seasons, offering leadership, consistency, and relentless energy down the flank. However, with talks dragging on and no fee settled, the situation remains fluid rather than close to completion.
From Liverpool's perspective, any decision on Robertson will hinge on both valuation and timing. Allowing a senior player to leave without a clear succession plan would be a risk, especially given the demands of competing on multiple fronts.
Antonee Robinson has emerged as a serious candidate as Liverpool prepare for the possibility of change at left-back. The Fulham defender has impressed with his athleticism, recovery speed, and attacking output, qualities that align with Liverpool's tactical demands.
The United States international has been a regular presence for Fulham this season, showing reliability at Premier League level. Liverpool's renewed interest reflects a desire to stay proactive rather than reactive should Robertson's future be resolved quickly.
While no formal move has been made, Robinson's profile fits the type of full-back Liverpool have traditionally targeted: dynamic, durable, and capable of contributing at both ends of the pitch.
As negotiations continue elsewhere, Liverpool's approach suggests preparation rather than panic, with the club keen to ensure stability regardless of how the Robertson situation unfolds.
