LASK 3-6 Liverpool: Champions League Player Ratings
The Champions League return saw a trip to LASK, with the aim of erasing the weekend loss to visiting Manchester City.
The lineup and subsequent ratings are listed below.

Allison Becker – 7.0
The giant Brazilian stopper was a surprise starter and until the raft of changes in the second half had very little to do. The goals were a consequence of poor play from his newly introduced defenders as his team took their foot off the throttle.
Ronald Araújo – 8.0
The Uruguay international was able to score with a powerful header which may become an important part of his game going forward. Looked very comfortable in the centre and is doing everything right to try and earn a long-term contract.
Subbed – 62 mins
Kostas Tsimikas – 6.0
The Greek international was able to assist his Uruguay teammate with a pinpoint corner and generally had a good game, until the final stages when everything went a little bit loose. Would've been proud to wear the armband for much of the game.

Jérémy Jacquet – 8.0
The France international was able to show continuing levels of maturity and was imperious whilst on the pitch. A future star and potentially the next rear guard leader of this team.
Subbed – 62 mins
Jeremie Frimpong – 7.0
The flying full-back in this team was adventurous going forward and despite his diminutive stature was able to head home inside the penalty area. He was again loose in his defending and was at fault for the delivery of one of the goals. Decent assist for Koumas.
Florian Wirtz – 8.0
The German international was able to offer assists and creativity in a solid outing where movement around him and a far lesser opponent saw his game start to shine. Still needs a goal.

Trey Nyoni – 7.0
The England under-18 international was forthright in his positioning and distribution of the ball, as he took on the role of the deepest-lying midfielder who was able to anchor and support his team in transition.
Subbed – 85 mins
Ryan Gravenberch – 7.0
The versatile midfielder was both steady and industrious on the board and enjoyed the open nature of this European encounter. He will now sit out the next game after his red card at the weekend.
Lewis Koumas – 8.0
The Wales international was so good in the press and his work rate is continually outstanding. He opened his account for the season with a crisp first-time finish and will continue to offer variation and energy in the front line for his new manager, someone who was very much taken with the Wales attacker.

Rio Ngumoha – 7.0
The English winger was able to show glimpses of what he can do as he continues his progress into men's football. An exciting player who is still learning his trade but shows flashes of brilliance that may well take him to the top of the game.
Subbed – 85 mins
Bradley Barcola – 8.0
Man of the match
The French player was able to score a hat-trick and silence the doubters, at least for the moment. Clinical finishing and superb quick-paced movement saw the former PSG attacker light up this European night, with a desire to do so against Brentford at the weekend.
Subbed – 73 mins

The Manager:
Andoni Iraola – 8.0
The starting lineup was adjusted with key youngsters drafted in for the overplayed senior players.
The second-half substitutes were what saw the game drift, but if a fork in his forward was desired, mission accomplished.
Steven Smith's Pre-match Prediction:
LASK 1-2 Liverpool
