The clock is ticking toward the playoff start at EverBank Stadium.
And to judge from the ticket market , the buzz is building fast for both Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills fans ahead of the 1 p.m. Jan. 11 kickoff at the Bank in the opening round of the AFC wild-card playoffs.
Some three days out from kickoff, a Thursday morning check of Ticketmaster's website for the game showed tickets still available. But they're not cheap.
As of 9:30 a.m. Thursday, the lowest-priced seat listed as a "verified resale ticket" on Ticketmaster was going for $225.81 in Section 431, near the corner of the upper bowl at The Bank.
Several other tickets were also listed in the $230 to $250 range, all of them likewise at the 400 level in the upper bowl.
Tickets below the upper bowl, not surprisingly, carried a substantially higher price. As of 9:30 a.m., the lowest-priced listing on Ticketmaster outside the upper bowl was $315.90 for a seat in Section 222, behind the north end zone.
Listed prices rose as high as $1,755 for a ticket in Section 9, located near field level just outside the 50-yard line.
Sunday's contest will be only the sixth home playoff game in Jacksonville history . The team has previously played one in the 1998 postseason (first-round win vs. New England ), two in 1999 (divisional playoff win vs. Miami , AFC Championship loss to Tennessee ), one in 2018 (first-round win vs. Buffalo) and one in 2022 (first-round win vs. Los Angeles Chargers ).
