Lucas Perri has blown very hot and cold since leaving Leeds United this summer.
A first season full of inconsistency at Elland Road saw Daniel Farke show the Brazilian the door.
Perri eventually joined Torino on loan, with Leeds smashing their transfer record to sign James Trafford from Manchester City.
That has worked out perfectly so far for the 49ers Enterprises.
Leeds have the second best defence in the Premier League and currently sit seventh, despite too many draws.
All while Perri continues to confuse many in Turin.
How did Italian media react to Lucas Perri?
Torino had turned a corner in recent weeks with two crucial victories, ans they were on their way to a third.
Taking on high-flying Como on Tuesday, they were 1-0 up until the final 10 minutes, until it all went wrong.
Under heavy pressure, it ended in a 3-1 defeat after a late flurry of goals.
While Perri didn't make any high-profile errors in the defeat, the Brazilian didn't catch the eye entirely.
Rated a 5.5/10, Tuttosport say that Perri and his defence simply "capitulated" in the end, not coming out to deal with his crosses.
The Brazilian was somewhat defended by others, though.
Toro News gave him a 6/10, simply saying that there was nothing he could do about the late barrage of goals against him.
Lucas Perri finally wins over local media as 'redemption' arc underway for Leeds loanee Will Leeds earn Lucas Perri jackpot?
After a disastrous start, it looked highly unlikely.
But, in his defence, Perri has managed to turn it around in recent weeks and has been hailed for his performances.
You can't win every week, and Torino certainly found that out the hard way against a dominant Como, but they are on the right track.
With a £13.5million option to purchase at the end of this loan , Leeds will be watching very closely.
After only two seasons of wages and the amortisation of the transfer, the Whites could still somehow make a profit on their books.
Compare that to Trafford, who has the highest save rate in the entire Premier League at over 80 per cent, and either way, Leeds are laughing.
How nice would it be to still make profit on top of that, though?
For now, all Perri can do is keep improving and hope he does enough to earn that permanent move next summer.
