The Chicago Bears face a tough test in Week 8 when they take on the Seattle Seahawks under the lights. Several of the game's most important battles will come down to one-on-one matchups, and Pro Football Focus (PFF) grades show which players have the edge going into the night.
PFF grades every player on every snap, so the numbers give a picture of who has performed well throughout the season. There are three of the top-graded matchups to watch for the Bears against the Seahawks: a showdown at receiver, a heavyweight fight in the trenches, and an under-the-radar opportunity for Chicago's pass rush.
Here are those top-graded matchups:
Luther Burden III (78.6) vs. Devon Witherspoon (73.5)

This has been one of the main battles to watch all week. Both players are elite weapons for their teams, and they will likely line up directly across from each other throughout the night.
Witherspoon has been among the best in the NFL since entering the league in 2023, and his play earned him a big payday this past offseason. Burden is becoming the clear WR1 in Chicago with his lethal ability to get open and make plays after the catch. Who will win this heavyweight battle?
Jonah Jackson (81.1) vs. Leonard Williams (74.6)

This trench battle is one every offensive line enthusiast will have their popcorn ready for. Williams ranks among the top five at his position and is the heartbeat of Seattle's front seven.
Jackson is a rising star and, in his seventh season, currently grades as a top-10 guard in the NFL . He finished among PFF's top 20 graded guards in 2025.
Austin Booker (73.1) vs. Josh Jones (69.9)

This matchup is flying under the radar. Charles Cross , a top-10 graded offensive tackle in the NFL, is expected to miss the next few weeks. Jones will step into the lineup against Booker, who is off to a strong start.
Booker has 13 pressures, four sacks and 13 run stuffs this season . With Jeffery Simmons drawing extra attention on the interior, Booker should see more one-on-one chances against Jones.
