Manchester City have unveiled their 2026/27 away kit early, with a special reveal event held in Hong Kong as part of the club's pre-season Asia tour.
The black-and-gold design pays tribute to Manchester's iconic worker bee symbol.
Recently-extended stars Phil Foden and Abdukodir Khusanov fronted the reveal, alongside highly-rated academy talent Ryan McAidoo .
The 2026/27 away kit for Enzo Maresca's Manchester City side has now been unveiled to supporters during the club's pre-season tour of Asia this week.
The new away shirt combines a black base with striking gold detailing across the collar, underarm stripes and sleeve cuffs, with the standout feature an all-over embossed pattern of worker bees in a direct nod to one of Manchester'smost recognisable cultural symbols.
The pale gold tone echos City's 1989/90 third kit, adding a throwback design to what is otherwise a modern release, while the reveal follows the new home kit – launched in May – with a sky-blue gradient paying tribute to the different shades of blue City have worn throughout their history.
The two releases so far mark the start of the first full Puma kit cycle of the post-Pep Guardiolaera, with the away shirt's early unveiling forming part of a wider 'Harbour Pitch: Built For This City' fan event in Hong Kong, ahead of City's pre-season friendly against Inter on August 1.
Manchester Cityofficially unveiled their brand new 2026/27 Puma away shirtin front of supporters at a special event in Hong Kong as part of their ongoing pre-season tour in Asia.
Presenting the new kit to supporters were first-team stars Abdukodir Khusanovand Phil Foden– fresh off the back of their blockbuster contract extensions with the club – alongside highly-rated Academy star Ryan McAidoo.
The choice of Phil Foden and Abdukodir Khusanov to front the reveal feels far from coincidental, coming just days after both players committed their long-term futures to the club.
Pairing Manchester City's newly-extended stars with a promising academy name in Ryan McAidoo sends a clear message about the direction Enzo Marescaand the club's hierarchy want to project heading into the new season – built around players seen as central to the club's future.
With the away kit now also set for general release this week and City's tour continuing on to Seoul after the Inter friendly, attention will increasingly turn to how Maresca's rebuilt squad performs on the pitch as pre-season progresses.
