In a recent report , journalist Graeme Bailey revealed that Manchester United are keeping tabs on Inter Milan striker Pio Esposito. It is believed that the Red Devils would have to compete with Arsenal and Barcelona in the race to land the Italian forward.
Esposito has caught the eye at times in Serie A in this campaign after putting in a few impressive displays as the focal point of Inter's attack. The 21-year-old has banged in two goals and grabbed one assist in five appearances for the Milan giants this season across all fronts.
The Italian talent is currently one of the most talented forwards in Serie A . Hence, it is no wonder that the Red Devils are hoping to land him next year.
His current contract at San Siro will run out in the summer of 2032, which could make it tough for Man United to sign him on the cheap this January or at the end of this campaign.

Esposito is proficient at creating a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has the vision to engineer some decent chances for his teammates up top and is a good dribbler with the ball as well.
The Italian sensation has done well to add some goals and assists to his game. Standing at 1.91m, Esposito is a strong presence in the air as well. However, there are some concerns over whether he can cope with the physical style and high intensity of the Premier League if the Red Devils manage to snap him up in 2027.
We can expect Esposito to add more quality and depth to Man United head coach Michael Carrick's frontline in the long run. He is already good enough to compete for a regular first-team spot at the Theatre of Dreams.
At 21, the future looks quite promising for Esposito as long as he continues to improve with each year. He is undoubtedly a prospect to watch out for in the long term, so the Red Devils should consider stepping up their efforts to sign the Italian youngster next year.
