🚨 Marcelo Flores confirms ligament tear, out of the World Cup
Marcelo Flores confirmed the worst fears: he has torn the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and will miss the 2026 World Cup with Canada.
The Tigres player announced the news through his social media, one day after suffering the injury in the Concacaf Champions Cup Final against Toluca.
"Sorry for not replying to anyone yet, these are very difficult times. I tore my ACL (anterior cruciate ligament)," the forward wrote.
