Notre Dame is currently beating Michigan State 17-10, but that doesn't mean head coach Marcus Freeman is satisfied with everything.

After the flag was thrown, Freeman was seen yelling at Williams on the sideline.

Freeman wants the operation to be cleaner and doesn't want dumb celebration penalties in an important game.
Williams is in his third year at Notre Dame and has been in the running back rotation throughout his collegiate career. He compiled 29 carries for 119 yards and two touchdowns in Notre Dame's first two games of the 2026 season.
Overall, he has racked up 87 carries for 562 yards and nine touchdowns in three years.
The Fighting Irish lead the Spartans 17-10 at halftime. Quarterback CJ Carr has been super consistent, completing 10-of-14 passes for 123 yards.
We'll see if the Irish can hold on in the second half. You can watch the rest of the game on NBC. Noah Eagle and Todd Blackledge have the call.
