Should You Draft Mark Andrews in Fantasy Football?

We'll start with Andrews' ADP, which sits at 123.6 in PFN's Free Fantasy Mock Draft Simulator . His positional rank, which is a consensus of me and my colleague Kyle Soppe, checks in at TE15. We have him projected at 9.55 fantasy points per game.

Last season, Andrews finished as TE23, averaging a career-low 8.8 yards per reception. He played all 17 games and had just 422 receiving yards. Over the past couple of years, Andrews has really thrived on touchdowns. If we go back to 2024, he scored a whopping 11 times, yet somehow he still only averaged 11.1 fantasy points per game. A staggering 35% of his fantasy points came from touchdowns alone. Last year, he regressed even further despite being healthy the entire season.

Meanwhile, the bull case for Andrews is purely situational. We are talking about a player who has shown serious signs of decline and legitimately looked like one of the worst players in the NFL last season at any position. His 1.33 yards per route run was downright terrible.

But you see the upside. Isaiah Likely is gone. Charlie Kolar is gone. The runway is pretty clear for Andrews to be the No. 2 passing option in the Ravens passing attack behind Zay Flowers, and we should see more volume from the Ravens passing attack this season. Lamar Jackson averaged around 23 pass attempts per game last year. His career average is more in the 27 to 28 range. An extra 4 to 5 pass attempts per game can go a long way, especially when Andrews presumably should be the No. 2 option in the passing game.

But that doesn't matter if the player can't perform. The reports out of training camp have not been great. Reportedly, Andrews can't get open, and when he does, he drops everything. I think this is a player who is on his last legs. It would not surprise me if Andrews latched on somewhere else next season and then was just out of the league. He's over 30 years old. We haven't seen him be an elite tight end in quite a while, and I don't think the talent is there anymore.

Rookie tight end Matt Hibner has looked pretty good in the preseason and training camp. I will go so far as to say it would not surprise me if we are talking about Hibner as the best tight end on the Ravens by midseason, or at least the latter portion of the season.

For me, Andrews is a strong fade. Even if I'm punting tight end, I can do way better. I can take a younger tight end with more upside, or I can just stream. I want no part of Andrews in 2026.

Mark Andrews' Week 1 Fantasy Outlook

Analysis provided by PFN Analyst Kyle Soppe .

I'm out on Andrews for the season, but I do have him ranked as a low-end starter this week. The Colts allowed the third-most red-zone trips a season ago, and if there was ever a time to chase the TD role of Andrews, it's before any hits take place, right?

We know this offense is going to be in position to do damage weekly, and Sunday should be no different. Andrews' target-earning metrics are trending in the wrong direction, but with Isaiah Likely out of town and no fatigue to speak of at this point, now is the time to extract value out of this profile (you better believe I'm going to be endorsing selling high on him should he put up a TE1 week to open the season).
