Mark Sanchez, the former pro quarterback who was an NFL analyst with Fox and Fox Sports 1, no longer has a job at the network.
"We can confirm that Mark Sanchez is no longer with the network," a Fox Sports spokesperson told TMZ Friday, November 7. "There will be no further comment at this time."
The 38-year-old's ousting at the network comes after he was arrested October 4 following an alleged altercation with a truck driver in Indianapolis, where the former Jets quarterback was scheduled to cover the Colts' game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Sanchez was stabbed during the incident and spent days in a hospital. The trucker claimed that he was acting in self-defense, and he is reportedly suing Sanchez and Fox Sports.

Upon Sanchez's release from the hospital , he was booked into the Marion County Jail on October 12. The athlete faces a felony battery charge involving serious bodily injury, along with misdemeanor counts of battery with injury, unlawful entry of a motor vehicle and public intoxication. Sanchez has pleaded not guilty , and a jury trial is expected to begin on December 11.
Following the October incident, Brady Quinnand Mark Schlerethhave filled in for Sanchez on the network.
As Globe previously reported , Sanchez's ex wasn't shocked to hear about his involvement in a violent altercation.
"Sadly, none of this is surprising to me," model Bobby T, whose real name is Erin Campaneris, wrote in an Instagram Story on October 12.
She said she learned of the "horrific event" while sitting next to her 8-year-old son, Daniel, whom she shares with Sanchez.
"I have always been concerned for [Daniel's] safety and for what he is exposed to," she said, adding her son "has always been" her "foremost priority."
