⚠️ Mastantuono and Echeverri are on River's radar, according to ESPN
River Plate have initiated formal contact to explore the return of Claudio Echeverri and Franco Mastantuono to the club, according to Juan Patricio Balbi (ESPN).
The Millionaires are now awaiting Manchester City 's and Real Madrid 's decision on a possible loan move for both players.

The deal for Diablito Echeverri appears to be the more feasible of the two, according to Balbi, both because of his current situation at City and his own desire to return. Mastantuono, who has only just arrived at Madrid, presents more uncertainty when it comes to a loan exit.
The Núñez club have no guarantees of success in either move, and the final decision will depend on the sporting plans of the European teams. A loan agreement would also require the players themselves and their entourages to accept a return to Argentine football.
River are starting to make moves ahead of the next transfer window. If either of the two loans goes through, it would represent a major statement of intent for the team's competitiveness in the second half of the season.
