Matt Barnes on the fallout from his incident with Kobe Bryant: "I got death threats, hate mail, you can't come to LA, we going to kill you. All kinds of crazy sh*t. He called me in that off-season and told me, anyone crazy enough to fuck with me is crazy enough to play with me. And I became a Laker that following season. But it was almost like, okay, I may not be a bad person off the court, but I'm almost a villain on the court. Let me embrace that. So I embraced that villain role like halfway through my career."
