- Matthias Jaissle issues Newcastle injury update amid Amar Dedic concern
Amar Dedic will not play for Newcastle against Hull this weekend due to an injury, Matthias Jaissle has revealed.
Dedic, the new signing from Benfica, has started the campaign as the Magpies' first-choice right-back ahead of Tino Livramento .

In his four Premier League starts so far, the Bosnian has added an assist, which came in the 2-0 win at Tottenham on matchday two.
Jaissle was blunt in his update on the full-back, telling reporters on Thursday: "Amar will not be able to play on Saturday."
It remains to be seen when Dedic will return to action - and what his injury actually is - and that will be a blow to many Fantasy Premier League players, with the defender an under-the-radar pick on the game this term.

As such, it hands England international Livramento, who was forced to fly home from the World Cup in the summer due to a calf injury, an opportunity to impress his new manager, who took over the reins at St James' Park from Eddie Howe, who stepped down from the role during the transfer window.

Newcastle have overseen a real changing of the guard in terms of their playing squad, losing the likes of Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimaraes to Tottenham and Arsenal respectively, while Anthony Gordon was sold to Barcelona .
Nick Woltemade left for Juventus on loan in search of regular game time, while Manchester United registered an interest that they never followed up in Lewis Hall , the former Chelsea left-back.
Jaissle, who moved to Tyneside from Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli, has led his new club to one win and two draws in his first four, but they suffered their first defeat under the German last time out, when the Magpies were thrashed 4-1 by a rampant Leeds at Elland Road.
