Memphis Grizzlies sign forward DeJon Jarreau to 10-day contract

The Memphis Grizzlies are signing wing DeJon Jarreau to a 10-day contract, the team announced on March 13.
Jarreau, a 6-foot-5 wing, played with the G League Memphis Hustle this season. In 31 games, Jarreau has averaged 14.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.1 assists.
He also played nine games with the Grizzlies during the 2023-24 season.
Jarreau, 28, went undrafted in 2021 after playing his last three seasons of college basketball with the Houston Cougars. He played one game with the Indiana Pacers that season.
A torn ACL slowed Jarreau's progress, but he worked his way back to an NBA opportunity with the Grizzlies in 2024 and now again in 2026.
He joins Tyler Burton as former Hustle players who are currently on 10-day contracts with the Grizzlies. Memphis is able to sign the players via hardship exceptions due to the long list of current injuries.
Zach Edey (left ankle) and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (right fifth finger surgery) have been ruled out for the season. Scotty Pippen Jr. is expected to join that list following a procedure on his right toe. Ja Morant , Santi Aldama and Brandon Clarke have also been out for more than a month.
The Grizzlies are back in action on March 13 against the Detroit Pistons (6:30 p.m., FanDuel Sports Network).
