The Miami Dolphins are spending some quality time with one of the best playmakers in the 2026 NFL Draft

The Miami Dolphins ‘ list of hosted prospects ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft is growing.

We’re getting a more clear picture of the players that Miami has felt the hunger to spend more time with beyond the standard meeting at the NFL Combine and at local pro days. And one of the prospects who is in-house today for the Dolphins is one that you should be paying extra attention to as the draft creeps closer on the horizon.

Per NFL insider Ian Rapoport , the Dolphins are hosting Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion today. I’ve already gone on the record in stating that I believe Concepcion is the perfect Jaylen Waddle replacement - if that’s a point of emphasis for Miami this offseason as they evolve their passing game.

Concepcion is measurably larger than Waddle but brings the same electric route running ability, big-play potential, special teams value, and speed.

Knowing that the Dolphins are showing interest is a promising development. But the alignment of where Concepcion lands in the draft and where the Dolphins own picks in this year’s event are a bit at odds. The Aggies receiver is trending upward in the wide receiver projections - some analysts have him pushing towards top-20 status as the draft nears. Miami, of course, will need that projection to fizzle to get a crack at him at No. 30 overall, or else need to manipulate the board unless they’re on board with drafting him as early as No. 11 overall.

That would be a surprise. But that’s the beauty of the draft. You can never say never - although we can certainly affirm the Dolphins have some interest in adding this explosive weapon to their overhauled offense this month.
