Amid his standout sophomore season at Miami , Malachi Toney has signed another high-profile NIL deal. He inked a partnership with JP Morgan Chase, he announced via social media Wednesday afternoon .

Through the partnership, Toney will work to bring awareness to scams, particularly those that impact young adults. He's drawing on his own experience when he almost fell for a fake brand deal and will offer tips for people to avoid scams.
"As a college athlete, I've seen how exciting it can be to get new opportunities through NIL and social media, but that also makes it important to know who you're dealing with and recognize when something doesn't feel right," Toney said in a statement to On3.

"Scams can happen to anyone, and I partnered with Chase because I want to help other young people recognize the warning signs, slow down and take the time to protect themselves and their money."
In addition to his NIL deal with JP Morgan Chase, Toney also has a high-profile agreement in place with Red Bull , which he announced last week. He also landed a deal with adidas as part of the brand's growing athlete roster. Toney is repped by NETWORK.
Through seven games this season, Toney has shined as the top target for new quarterback Darian Mensah . He leads the FBS with 66 receptions, and his 952 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns both rank third in the country heading into Week 9.
Those numbers came after Malachi Toney had 109 receptions, 1,211 yards and 10 touchdowns as a freshman while helping Miami to the national title game. He is also one of the highest-paid wide receivers in college football this season, On3's Pete Nakos reported.
Miami is one of the last undefeated teams left in college football heading into Week 9 and sits alone atop the ACC standings. The Hurricanes take a 7-0 record into Saturday night's road matchup against North Carolina .
