The Green Bay Packers defense took a huge hit Sunday night.
Micah Parsons tore his ACL against the Broncos in the final minute of the third quarter, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport . Parsons was chasing Denver quarterback Bo Nix when the non-contact injury occurred.
He was tended to by trainers and walked to the sideline after the injury. But Parsons needed help getting to the locker room.
Green Bay quickly ruled him out.
The injury came shortly after the Packers lost Christian Watson to a chest injury in the same quarter.
Losing Parsons for the season is a crushing blow to the Packers. The 26-year-old has been one of the NFL’s top defensive players this season. Going into Sunday’s game, Parsons’ 12.5 sacks was tied for third in the league.
