Michael Harris II scored Atlanta's only run in Game 4 of the National League Division Series on Wednesday, as the Braves fell 4-1 to the Los Angeles Dodgers at Truist Park, ending Atlanta's 2026 campaign.
The Braves center fielder came home on a first-inning wild pitch from Dodgers starter Tyler Glasnow and later doubled in the seventh inning. Los Angeles broke a 1-1 tie in that frame on a two-run single by Andy Pages, then added a solo home run from Max Muncy in the ninth to win the best-of-five series three games to one.
Harris had a major October for Atlanta. He hit a three-run homer in the first inning of a win-or-go-home Game 3 of the Wild Card Series against the Philadelphia Phillies on October 1, then fell a home run short of the cycle in Game 2 of the NLDS on Sunday with a single, double and triple.

After the Braves' elimination, he shared a message with fans on social media.
"What a year! Not the outcome we wanted but we left it all out on the field and gave ourselves the best chance," Harris said in a post on X. "Great group of guys to go to battle with everyday."
Atlanta finished the 2026 season with 94 regular-season wins and its first NL East title in three years. "There's only one team that goes home happy at the end of the year," manager Walt Weiss said after the game. "I've talked about how proud I am of this group all year, and that doesn't change."
The Braves now turn to the offseason, while the Dodgers advance to the National League Championship Series for a third straight year to face the MLB's best, the Milwaukee Brewers.
