Michigan State reportedly in contact with New Mexico transfer center

It is the most tumultuous time in the college basketball calendar: The transfer portal commands the full attention of every team across America. Michigan State is not an exception. It is dipping into the transfer portal to address a need or two on the current roster.

The biggest position of need for the Spartans is center. The Spartans need a starting caliber player to play a big role in the upcoming season. While the Spartans have been linked to one of the top centers in the portal, they have now been connected to another option.

A native of Split, Croatia, he is an older college basketball player. He played professionally in Europe before joining New Mexico for one season.

Aside from Michigan State, it is being reported Buljan is hearing from Auburn, Cincinnati, Creighton, Marquette, Maryland, Saint Louis, Syracuse, Texas Tech and Virginia Tech.
