The hope was that Michigan football could be closer to full strength, particularly along the offensive line, heading into the Week 10 game against Michigan State . However, after head coach Kyle Whittingham had said on Monday that he hoped to get good news on right tackle Andrew Sprague, it appears that isn't the case.
The first of the midweek injury reports arrived on Wednesday evening, and Sprague is still listed as out, meaning he won't play against the rival Spartans on Saturday. Rod Moore, Jordan Young, Dom Nichols, and John Henry Daley all appeared as questionable for the third week in a row, while Brady Norton -- rumored to be out -- is also questionable. Tight end Hogan Hansen, who met with the media on Tuesday, is also listed as questionable.
Center Jake Guarnera, who was obviously dealing with an injury against Rutgers, is listed as probable.
Michigan State is dealing with a slew of injuries entering the battle for the Paul Bunyan Trophy, but notably, quarterback Alessio Milivojevic is listed as questionable.
