While waiting to see what answers the pitch will provide, let's first take a look at the most important news of the morning involving the big Serie A clubs.
🆕 Juve, Spalletti moving toward a back three against NEC
Juventus, coming off a 3-2 defeat against Sassuolo , could change shape ahead of tomorrow night's Europa League clash with NEC and Sunday afternoon's following match against Atalanta . As reported by the Gazzetta dello Sport , Spalletti is considering several changes to the lineup. In goal, Grabara could challenge Vicario , while in defense the team could switch to a back three, with Gatti a candidate to take Bremer 's place.
In midfield, Douglas Luiz should be confirmed, alongside Sarr , while McKennie could come on during the match. Out wide, there should be room for Nico and Conceicao due to the absences of Boga and Zhegrova . Up front, meanwhile, Spalletti is considering a return to a two-striker setup, with Woltemade alongside Kolo Muani .
🔄 Milan, Amorim experimenting against Benfica
Milan are preparing for their Europa League debuttonight against Benfica. For the occasion, Ruben Amorim is putting the finishing touches in place and seems intent on experimenting by introducing two new players from the start. After the comeback draw against Lazio , the coach reportedly tested some new ideas in the final training session: Omari Hutchinson is in contention for a starting spotfor the first time at San Siro, after making his debut in the closing minutes against the Biancocelesti.

As reported by the Gazzetta dello Sport , in midfield Luka Modric could start on the bench after three straight starts, with Jashari ready to take his place. There could also be a change in defense, where Mario Gila is expected to be rested: Filippo Terracciano is set to replace him, ready to return to the starting lineup in a Rossoneri shirt after his loan spell at Cremonese .
🚑 Inter, lengthy layoff for Stones?
Inter, currently top of the table, are preparing for this weekend's big match against Roma. Chivu already received bad news yesterday with Hakan Calhanoglu sidelined — he will miss the match at the Olimpico and is expected to return after the international break, possibly as early as the game against Parma . But he is not the only injury concern among the Nerazzurri , because in Monday night's latest league match against Udinese , Stones also pulled up and was forced off with a hamstring problem.
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport , Chivu is worried about John Stones ' condition. The hamstring issue he picked up could keep the Englishman, who arrived in this transfer window, out for at least a month.
🤕 Napoli , Anguissa continues individual training
Napolireturned to training at the Castel Volturno Training Center after the win over Bologna , beginning preparations for the away trip against Fiorentina . Allegri is having to deal with several injuries and, among the players being most closely monitored, there is certainly Zambo Anguissa, who remains doubtful for the next league match.

As reported by the Gazzetta dello Sport , the Cameroonian midfielder again did personalized work on the pitch today, with the aim of returning to Massimiliano Allegri's squad for the match in Florence. His condition will be assessed over the next few days and, if so, he would be the only Azzurri player who could become available again.
⚠️ Roma, Wesley and Ndicka gritting their teeth
The big match at the Olimpico between Roma and Interis getting closer, with both teams on maximum points after the first four rounds. Ahead of the clash, however, Gasperini and Chivu have to deal with the energy spent in their Champions League doubleheader and with some players still not at their best physically.
As reported by Pagineromaniste , at Roma the conditions of Wesley and Ndicka still need to be assessed. The Brazilian has not yet recovered from the knee bruise suffered against Fenerbahce and will be monitored day by day. Ndicka, meanwhile, had been sidelined by an intestinal virus, but his presence does not appear to be at risk. Leonardo Balerdi is in any case ready to start. Manu Koné will also need to be assessed, as he is not yet 100% fit.
💪 Lazio, Tavares is now a pillar for Gattuso
Nuno Tavares has become one of the key figures in Gennaro Gattuso's Lazio side. Speaking to DAZN before the match against Milan, the Biancocelesti coach praised the Portuguese player's potential, highlighting his uncommon athletic and technical qualities. And yet, just a few weeks ago, the 2000-born full-back seemed destined to leave the capital: Galatasaray and Porto had shown interest, but talks with the Portuguese club did not lead to an agreement.

After overcoming the physical problems he suffered in preseason, as reported by the Lazionews24 blog, Tavares has earned space and consistency, showing speed, power, quality in his crosses and one-on-one ability. His performances against Udinese and Milan confirmed his impact, making him a valuable option on the left flank. Gattuso's work, with careful management of his rhythm and the psychological side, has also contributed to his resurgence.
🎙️ Fiorentina, Vanoli: "The first thing is to stay compact"
After the Tuscan Coppa Italia derby between Pisa and Fiorentina, won 3-0 by La Viola, Paolo Vanolispoke to Mediaset microphones, reflecting on the path the team has taken since his return to Florence. "When I came in, I said openly that we were not a team and were not playing like one. I started from the number of goals we were conceding and today, in that sense, it is a step forward. We started by staying compact and pressing when we can. The beauty of it is that the group is young and sometimes you have to hold them back; whoever comes on has shown that they care about the group," were his words.
Finally, the coach commented on Mastantuono 'scall-up to Argentina, saying he was pleased with the national team selection and stressing that the young talent, by putting his qualities at the service of the team, can become important for Fiorentinaand for the Argentine national side.
