Milan defender Mario Gila admits he 'felt discomfort' in his patellar tendon, so he had to be subbed off in the final minutes of yesterday's game against Juventus .
The Spanish defender left the pitch at minute 87 last night, but it wasn't immediately clear why he had to be subbed off with just three minutes, plus added time, remaining.

Milan were leading 1-0 but conceded the equaliser just four minutes after Gila's substitution.
"It would seem unfair to me to say that the team suffers without me," Gila told DAZN via MilanNews.
"I think they deserved the draw. We weren't 100%; we lost a lot of balls. We stayed in the game until the very end against a team as strong as Juve."

The ex-Lazio defender had already been subbed off in Milan's previous two games against Torino and Venezia.
"I haven't been able to finish the games yet, and that's a shame," he admitted.
"Today I felt discomfort in my patellar tendon, but the draw is not to be thrown away."
Gila joined Milan in a €30m deal from Lazio last summer, and the Biancocelesti are the next team the Rossoneri will face in the next Serie A round.
