Milik is making it hard for Jonathan David to stay at Juventus
Arkadiusz Milik scored Juventus ' second goal in their 2-0 win against Palermo, and his performance could make it harder for Jonathan David to remain at the club.
In an ideal situation, David would be the second-choice striker at Juventus behind Randal Kolo Muani because he is younger and has only recently joined the club. However, Milik, who has missed more than 500 days of action because of different injuries, is now showing strong form whenever he steps on the pitch for the Bianconeri.

Milik Gives Spalletti Another Option
Milik's goal represents a welcome return for Luciano Spalletti, who chose to introduce the Poland international as a second-half substitute against Palermo instead of David. His performance gives the Juventus manager another option in attack and could influence how he assesses the club's striking options.
David, meanwhile, remained on the bench throughout the match. As reported by Calciomercato , the Canadian did not feature at all, which could be viewed as a clear indication that his position at Juventus is becoming increasingly uncertain.
The situation is particularly difficult for David because he arrived at Juventus with expectations of competing for an important role. Instead, Milik's return to form has created additional competition and could leave the Canadian facing an uncertain future in Turin.

Juventus Could Move David On
Juventus are looking for ways to strengthen their squad, and David's situation could become part of those plans. The Bianconeri may now consider selling the striker or allowing him to leave on loan this summer, potentially creating space for another replacement.
David has struggled to make a strong impression under Spalletti, while Milik has taken advantage of his opportunity to contribute. The Poland international's latest goal could therefore strengthen his position within the squad while further weakening David's prospects.
For Juventus, the decision will centre on which attacking options can provide the greatest contribution. Milik's recent form gives Spalletti another reason to trust him, while David must now respond if he wants to remain part of the club's plans.

The Canadian's future is therefore increasingly uncertain . With Juventus assessing their squad and considering further changes, David could be one of the players asked to leave during the transfer window.
