In a deviation from past norms, theMilwaukee Brewerswill carry 13 pitchers for their National League Division Series against theSan Diego Padres.
Kyle Harrison made the roster for the NLDS, which begins Oct. 3 at American Family Field, in a decision by the Brewers that favors upside over results down the stretch.

Milwaukee carried three catchers for the final month of the season but left Bo Naylor off the roster against the Padres. That could limit how they use backup catcher Gary Sánchez throughout the series by not having another insurance option in case starter William Contreras is injured.
Kyle Harrison of the Milwaukee Brewers pitches against the St. Louis Cardinals in the fourth inning at American Family Field on Sept. 26, 2026, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
