The Minnesota Vikings went through a rather arduous process to come up with their next general manager. After firing Kwesi Adofo-Mensah , the Wilfs opted against installing a new leader before free agency or the NFL Draft.
Now with Nolan Teasley officially installed as the leader of the football organization, he has quickly shaped the franchise in his image. Kevin O'Connell and Rob Brzezinski have been the faces of the franchise in recent weeks, but Teasley is quickly bringing in a new guard.
After firing multiple executives following an assessment of his staff, Teasley continues to make hires that will help to lead the Vikings into the future.

Ryan Pace joins Minnesota Vikings front office
Nolan Teasley has been seen as a strong hire by the Minnesota Vikings. He clearly was well respected in Seattle , and has poached some of his former coworkers. As he continues to build out his staff, adding experience is a good idea. Ryan Pace, the former general manager in Chicago , is the latest big name coming to Eagan.
The #Vikings are hiring former Bears GM Ryan Pace as a football advisor for new GM Nolan Teasley, and they're adding Seahawks scout Azzaam Kapadia as assistant director of pro scouting.

Pace certainly had a questionable tenure with the Chicago Bears (2015-2021), but has done it all at the highest level. He has been in NFL front offices since 2001, and spent 2022-2025 with the Atlanta Falcons . Teasley will have yet another smart person to bounce ideas off of, and that's hardly a bad thing.
Beyond just Pace, Teasley has also hired Azzaam Kapadia. Kapadia worked with Teasley in Seattle for the past three seasons. He was promoted to Pro Scout from a Player Personnel Assistant role last year, and had been with the University of Virginia's football team prior to his time in Seattle.
The MN Vikings were heavily leveraged on the data side under the tenure of Adof-Mensah. While Teasley certainly isn't running from information or analytics, he's creating a more well-rounded front office.
MN Vikings new front office tasked with massive decision
Teasley and the collection of smart football people he's brought in are facing an immediate test with the Minnesota Vikings. After Adofo-Mensah drafted J.J. McCarthy three years ago, it's now up to this collection to decide if he's the answer.
Kyler Murray is likely to win out whatever competition there may be. From there, the Vikings have to decide whether McCarthy should stick around, Murray is the long term answer, or they pivot entirely. Landing the right quarterback is the most significant decision in sports.
The Wilfs should give Teasley multiple swings to get the quarterback position right. The hope is that he will only need one. Kevin O'Connell has had multiple passers during his tenure as a head coach, but he certainly would have preferred the one that Teasley saw win a Super Bowl last year as opposed to the revolving door he worked with instead.
