The Minnesota Vikings have not been a good football team this year. Although they aren't awful at 7-8 , there have rarely been moments where they have looked like a team to worry about. Much of that falls on the quarterback play, or lack thereof , but other position groups have fallen short as well.
This offseason only the New England Patriots spent more money than the Vikings . Minnesota revamped their lines on both sides of the ball . Things just haven't gone according to plan.
With no playoffs on the horizon, there was a potential for players to compete in the Pro Bowl Games. Unfortunately none of them were invited.

No end of season fun for Minnesota Vikings
The Pro Bowl is hardly a noteworthy event at this point. The quality of the football itself has degraded to the point in which an actual game isn't even played. Anything the NFL does prints money though , so the current iteration is a series of mini games. Until players ultimately start dropping out though, the Minnesota Vikings remain shutout.
No Vikings players were named to the Pro Bowl today. Not a shock given injuries/record but still an exclamation point for a team that spent nearly $350 million assembling its roster. Third time in club history without a Pro Bowl player named to the initial roster (1983, 2014).

It's quite astonishing that such a significant free agent spending spree didn't result in a single standout player. The Minnesota Vikings join the New York Jets (3-12), and New Orleans Saints (5-10) as the only teams to not land a Pro Bowl player. Even the two-win Giants and Raiders were able to land someone on the squad.
Quite possibly the biggest snub for the Vikings was kicker Will Reichard . Dallas ' Brandon Aubrey made the cut, but Reichard outkicked him in the win over Dallas. Reichard has missed just two field goals all season and he nailed one from 62.
Reichard and his specialist teammates also put out a banger of a hype video.
Singing? Not their speciality.
But snapping (and kicking) certainly is. #ProBowlVote @andrewdepaola @rjwright14_ @WillReichard pic.twitter.com/hRoUPfN7Lf— Minnesota Vikings (@Vikings) December 12, 2025
It's beyond plausible that Jalen Redmond could have been a consideration too. He has gone from a rotational guy to a defensive line standout. He has six sacks this season , and coming through the interior isn't easy to pull that off.
The Pro Bowl Games will be played on Tuesday February 3. The flag football game is the marquee event and kicks off at 7pm CT.
