Chelsea forward Morgan Rogers has opened up about his understanding with Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro.
Speaking to Men in Blazers , the England international discussed Chelsea's attacking approach, his relationship with Palmer and the influence of experienced midfielder Jordan Henderson.
Rogers described Palmer as the creative link between midfield and attack, highlighting his ability to receive possession in deeper areas and unlock opposition defences.
He believes the former Manchester City playmaker possesses exceptional technical qualities that are difficult to teach.
"His ability to kind of take players out of the game to manipulate the ball, you can't really teach it," Rogers said.
The forward explained that Palmer's movement and desire to receive possession create opportunities for himself and Pedro in advanced positions.
Rogers also praised Pedro's versatility, describing him as a striker who can combine flair with physical determination.
He highlighted Pedro's movement, finishing ability and willingness to compete with defenders as important features of Chelsea's attack.
According to Rogers, the trio's greatest strength is their contrasting playing styles, which make it difficult for opponents to contain all three simultaneously.
"If they try and stop one, then the other two are going to get their joy because we're all so different," he explained.
The 24-year-old also discussed his close friendship with Palmer, revealing that they regularly challenge each other to maintain high standards.
Rogers insisted their relationship lets them communicate directly without worrying about causing offence.
"We're not scared to hurt each other's feelings to get the best for each other," he said.
He also reflected on Chelsea's tendency to score shortly after kick-off or half-time, attributing the pattern primarily to the squad's mentality.
However, Rogers jokingly refused to reveal the team's half-time instructions, suggesting that their methods should remain private.
Chelsea's summer recruit also spoke on Henderson's influence, praising his professionalism.
He argued that Henderson's experience should not overshadow his ability to contribute on the pitch.
Rogers revealed that the former Liverpool captain regularly challenges younger teammates in training and remains determined to prove his critics wrong.
The Chelsea forward also recalled the excitement around his move to Stamford Bridge, describing the memorable moment he told someone close to him about the transfer.
His comments offered an insight into Chelsea's attacking relationships and the standards being established within the squad.
