- MSU hoops target, 4-star big man cancels upcoming visit to fellow finalist school
A key Michigan State recruiting target has reportedly canceled one of his upcoming official visits, which could bode well for the Spartans.
Michigan State target Jaydn Jenkins has reportedly canceled an upcoming official visit to NC State, according to 247Sports insider Dushawn London. Jenkins reportedly visited Xavier recently and still has visits planned with Ohio State, Michigan State and Georgetown.

Jenkins is a high four-star prospect with a recruiting rating of 98.24 on the 247Sports' composite. He is the No. 6 center and No. 42 overall prospect in the 2027 class, according to 247Sports.
With NC State clearly no longer in the running for Jenkins, Michigan State's odds of landing this prized prospect have grown. Michigan State will get its chance to have him on campus Sept. 10-13. Visits to Georgetown and Ohio State follow. We should have a pretty good understanding of how his recruiting process will play out by late September. Hopefully, Michigan State wins this key recruiting battle.
