A 24-ounce beer was listed at 290 pesos, while bottled water was 80 pesos, Coca-Cola 160 pesos and three tacos 240 pesos inside Estadio Azteca for the World Cup opener.
That made beer one of the most eye-catching concession prices for supporters arriving at the stadium, although the listed amount was not the only beer figure reported from Mexico City.

What fans should expect to pay for beer in Mexico City
The clearest answer is that fans buying beer at the Mexico City World Cup opener were looking at roughly 290 to 310 pesos, depending on product and size.
Exchange rates can shift, so dollar and euro figures should be treated as approximate rather than fixed prices for every supporter.
The Mexico vs South Africa match opened the 2026 World Cup, which meant the concession prices drew attention as fans arrived for the first fixture of the tournament.
In practical terms, supporters at Estadio Azteca should expect beer to sit around the 300-peso mark, with some options reported slightly above it.
