A pair of Zionsville juniors competed this week at the Junior PGA Championships at Fields Ranch East & West Golf Courses in Frisco, Texas.
One of the top junior tournaments in the world, golfers from around the country and several foreign countries came to compete in the event.

The field was cut at the end of both Day 2 and Day 3 in the event.
Myers finished tied for 31st in the event, playing into Day 3.
He started off with a 74 on Day 1. After a bogey on the third hole, he birdied six and seven to make the turn 1-under. A double bogey on the 10th moved him to 1-over, and he added a birdie and two bogeys coming in for his round.
In Round 2, he came back with a 71. He made the turn at even par, cancelling out bogeys on 2 and 4 with birdies on six and eight.
He bogeyed the 16th, but came back with birdies on 17 and 18 to finish 1-under.
He shot even-par 72 in the third round. He was 3-over at the turn with four bogeys and a birdie.

He caught fire on the back, collecting birdies on 10, 14 and 17, but missed the final cut by one shot.
Snively finished tied for 34th, also missing the cut for Day 4 by a shot.
On Day 1, she shot 1-over, with two bogeys and a birdie to go along with 15 pars.
In the second round, she started on the 10th hole and bogeyed three of the first four holes before getting birdies on the 16th, 17th and 18th.
She stayed event through the first five holes of a her second nine, but a double bogey on 6 and a bogey on 7 moved her to 3-over.
In the third round, she started with a double bogey, but played the last 17 holes in 2-under with three birdies and a bogey to shoot even par.
Snively will be back in action next week at the U.S. Women's Amateur before joining her Zionsville teammates for the season.
