Nashville SC's schedule for Phase One of the 2026 Leagues Cup has been released.
Nashvillewill face three opponents fromMexico's Liga MX, all at home. It will host Club Leon at Geodis Park on Aug. 5, Atletico San Luis on Aug. 9 and Monterrey on Aug. 12.

The Leagues Cup is a competition including teams from MLS and Liga MX. It's undergone various changes to its format since its introduction in 2019 as a four-team tournament. This season, it includes 36 teams — all 18 Liga MX clubs and 18 MLS teams, who qualified for the Leagues Cup by making the playoffs in 2025.
Nashville reached the final of the 2023 Leagues Cup,falling to Inter Miami on penaltiesasLionel Messiwon his first trophy on American soil. It also appeared in the 2024 edition but was eliminated in the group stage, and did not qualify for the 2025 tournament.

Due to Nashville's qualification for both the Leagues Cup andCONCACAF Champions Cup, it is not competing in the U.S. Open Cup this season. Nashvillewon the Open Cupin 2025, beatingAustin FCin the final for its first trophy.
2026 Leagues Cup schedule
The 2026 Leagues Cup runs from Aug. 4-Sept. 6. Unlike in past years, the MLS season will not pause to accommodate the tournament; teams will still play regular-season games in August.
During Phase One, each team will play three matches. Every match during Phase One will be between an MLS team and a Liga MX team. The top four MLS teams and the top four Liga MX teams will advance to the single-elimination knockout stage. The quarterfinals are scheduled for Aug. 25-27, the semifinals on Sept. 1-2 and the final on Sept. 6.

The Leagues Cup champion, runner-up and third-place finisher will all qualify for next season's Champions Cup.
Nashville SC Leagues Cup opponents
Monterrey finished fifth in the Apertura, the first half of the 2025-26 Liga MX season, and is seventh in the Clausura, the second half. San Luis placed 15th in the Apertura and is currently in 11th in the Clausura, and Leon was 17th and is now 13th.
Nashvillebeat Monterreyat home in the semifinals in 2023 to advance to the final.
